Overview

The Elmo document camera is a visual presentation unit that can display a

variety of presentation materials.

Text, photos, slides, negatives, transparencies, drawings and three-dimensional

objects can be displayed in full color for local presentations and over the

Distance Learning network.

The zoom lens can clearly display items as small as the date on a dime.

Some units have two optional, Auxiliary Lights to illuminate the objects being

presented.

BOCES DL classrooms are designed with sufficient ceiling lighting above

the teacher’s podium. Auxiliary Lighting is rarely necessary.

All units have a base light to illuminate slides, negatives and transparencies from

beneath.

Power Switch

• Check to see that the power cable is plugged securely into the unit.

• The power switch is located on the Back Panel to the left of the Pedestal

Arm.
